Specialists who help children and adults return to an active life every day.

Olga Zelenina

Olga Zelenina

Director of the Centre, paediatrician, clinical psychologist

For me, pediatrics and psychology have always been about the same thing—the child as a whole. Not just symptoms or a diagnosis, but their emotions, development, fears, family, and quality of life. I entered this field because I want to help children not just receive treatment, but feel safe, be heard, and have support at every stage of their recovery. It’s especially rewarding to see a child begin to trust the world again, smile, and open up to life. It’s precisely for these moments that I work in rehabilitation.

Yevgeniya Muntyanova

I chose rehabilitation because here, medicine produces real results that can be seen in a person’s life. For me, it’s important not just to make a diagnosis, but to help a person regain mobility, independence, and self-confidence. In this field, there are no “small” victories: taking the first steps after an injury, returning to work, being able to hug a child on your own—these are the things that remind us why we work every day.

Katerina Leontyeva

I’ve always been inspired by medicine that makes a lasting difference in people’s quality of life. Rehabilitation is about the journey, support, and teamwork, where every patient’s achievement matters. I work in this field because I want people who have experienced illness, injury, or difficult life circumstances not to be left alone to face their limitations, but to have the chance to return to an active and fulfilling life.

Olena Sytnik

I chose pediatric neurology because it is during childhood that timely intervention can change the course of a person’s entire life. For me, it’s important not only to work with a diagnosis, but also to see the child behind it—their personality, emotions, and potential. What I value most in my work are the moments when a child does something that seemed impossible just yesterday: begins to communicate better, move more freely, and interact with the world.

To be a well-rounded person, one must not only take from the world but also give back. I am amazed by the capabilities of the human body, and I derive immense satisfaction from using my knowledge and skills to improve the condition and functioning of the human body. For me, this is an opportunity to contribute to the development of our world.

Serhiy Oliinyk

I chose physical therapy because I’ve always been motivated by the chance to see the real results of my work. In this profession, it’s important not only to know the techniques and exercises, but also to understand the person, support them, and help them stay committed on the path to recovery. For me, the greatest reward is seeing a patient gradually regain movement, strength, self-confidence, and the ability to live an active life.

Rehabilitation is my calling. I really love working with children. The mission of this field is to help people learn, grow and become better versions of themselves, and this resonates with my personal beliefs. That’s why I’m so happy to be working here.

I chose psychology because I’ve always believed that support and understanding can serve as a source of strength for people, even during the most difficult times in their lives. In my work, it’s important to me to create a safe space where people can be heard without fear of judgment or misunderstanding. It’s especially rewarding to see how inner strength, peace, and self-confidence gradually emerge.

Alona Chyzh

Ever since my student days, I’ve realised that psychology is a boundless field for learning and development. I work at the centre because I want to contribute to the learning, development and progress of children with special needs, and to help adults find answers to their questions. Furthermore, the centre currently fulfils one of the main principles of my life: ‘Happiness is when you look forward to going to work in the morning and coming home in the evening.

Yevgeniya Kolodnikova

For me, communication is the foundation of a person’s interaction with the world. Speech therapy is generally very underrated by people who think it’s just about teaching someone to pronounce the letter “r.” In reality, speech and communication underpin learning, socialization, relationships, and even a sense of self-worth. A person who cannot express themselves properly very quickly begins to feel isolated. That’s why this work is much deeper than it appears from the outside.

Kateryna Kuksa

I chose special education because I believe that every child has the potential to grow, provided they have support, patience, and the right approach. It’s important to me to help children discover their potential, interact better with the world, and feel more confident in their studies and daily life.

I work in the field of rehabilitation because it’s important to me to help people feel better—not just physically, but emotionally as well. In my work, I value the opportunity to be part of the recovery process and to support patients on their journey toward improved well-being, mobility, and quality of life. What motivates me most are the moments when, after a long period of pain or tension, a person begins to feel freer, more confident, and more comfortable in their own body again.

I enjoy working in the field of rehabilitation because it allows me to help people regain not only their physical health, but also a sense of ease and confidence in their everyday lives. In my work, I value a personalised approach, attentiveness to how a person is feeling, and an atmosphere of trust. What inspires me most is seeing how, after a course of rehabilitation, patients feel freer and more active, and are able to return to their usual activities without discomfort or strain.

Matviy Oliinyk

I got into rehabilitation because I enjoy working with people and seeing the results that come from our daily collaboration. It’s important to me to support people during sessions, to help them feel more confident and comfortable throughout the recovery process. I appreciate this field because here, every achievement a patient makes represents a real change in their life, even if it starts with just a small step.

Matviy Oliinyk

physiotherapist’s assistant

Anastasia Litovchenko

I entered the field of rehabilitation because I’ve always enjoyed working with people and being helpful in situations where support and patience are needed. It’s important to me that patients feel comfortable during sessions, aren’t afraid to make mistakes, and move at their own pace. What I love most are the moments when a person starts to believe in themselves more, is happy with their progress, and comes to class with a completely different attitude.

Anastasia Litovchenko

physiotherapist’s assistant

Daniil Savichev

I enjoy working in rehabilitation because of the meaningful interactions with people and the feeling that my work truly makes a difference in someone’s life every day. In this field, it’s important to be attentive, calm, and able to support a person even when they’re struggling to believe in themselves. For me, it’s rewarding to see patients gradually open up, become more active, and return to their normal rhythm of life.

Daniil Savichev

physiotherapist’s assistant

Oleksandra Vovchanska

For me, my job is first and foremost about supporting people when they’re feeling anxious or going through a difficult time. Very often, the administrator is the first person a patient or their family sees, so I believe it’s important to create an atmosphere of calm, care, and trust from the very first moments at the Center. I enjoy being part of a team that helps people navigate their rehabilitation journey with the assurance that they are not alone.

Cleanliness isn’t just about order—it’s about comfort and safety for everyone who visits our center. It makes me happy to know that my work helps create a place where everyone feels good.

Father Yevhen Babenko

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always dreamed of making the world a little kinder and better. Seeing this desire in me, the Lord called me to serve others. It was with His help that I became a priest and a sign language interpreter. And the “Ioannovsky Center” rehabilitation facility has given me the opportunity to support those who truly need it—people with disabilities, adults, and children facing difficult life circumstances. I’m very glad that the children enjoyed the center’s chapel, because it’s their chapel, too!
