Name this smiling, sincere and extremely strong boy Ivan. He has been undergoing ongoing rehabilitation since the opening of our Center, and his success story is impressive.

Vanya is a long-awaited child in the family. He was born on time, began to hold his head and pick up toys, but months passed and the baby never learned to sit. The parents sounded the alarm, underwent numerous doctor’s consultations and examinations, and, unfortunately, the boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. And then, mom and dad began a painstaking struggle with the disease.

At the age of 3, Vanya started working with the multidisciplinary team of our Center. And here are the successes that Ivan managed to achieve during this time:

  • increased its functionality by 20% on a scale of large motor functions;
  • learned to sit and crawl on their own;
  • learned to walk with a walker;
  • Independently drinks from a cup and eats from a spoon;
  • rests on the elbow and rises on its own;
  • writes with a pen and draws;
  • significantly increased vocabulary.

Here is what his mother Yulia says about her son’s achievements: “In two years, my husband and I have seen great progress in Vanya’s development. He became more confident and independent, overcame the fear of rocking, learned to keep his balance, got on his knees, rides in a hammock, dances. Vanya has become more sociable and relaxed and is incredibly happy and looks forward to each rehabilitation course, he says: “We will go to friends.” Indeed, we feel at home at the John Center. We rejoice in every success of Vanya and thank all the specialists of the Center for the excellent results of our Cossack. “

And we, in turn, thank the parents for the trust, and the most positive boy – for the determination, perseverance, perseverance, and for the good mood, which he sincerely shares with us at every meeting.

Health, success and new victories, our favorite ray!
