When a person is immersed in water, his body is in a state of approaching weightlessness, and this relaxes him. The combination of relaxation and hydromassage helps to achieve a significant therapeutic effect.
Our center has a room for hydromassage procedures, where a child can receive a course of high-pressure underwater massage, shower-massage, hydromassage, and hydroaeromassage (in another way, it is also called a “pearl bath”.
High-pressure underwater massage is a massage with the help of an isolated water jet, which is delivered through a hose with a special nozzle. This type of massage allows you to deeply and painlessly affect individual muscle groups, providing a mechanical and thermal effect and thereby reducing the tone of spastic muscles. Massage using a shower head has a similar effect.
In general, thanks to such water procedures, microcirculation and blood flow to the periphery are strengthened, as a result of which redox reactions in the body are activated, metabolism improves, the child relaxes, his sleep, appetite and general condition of the body improve.
Contraindications are:
- convulsions;
- infectious skin diseases;
- hypersensitivity to water procedures.
