Correctional and pedagogical rehabilitation of children is a complex of measures aimed at eliminating or mitigating impaired psychophysical development of the child, as well as at maximally restoring his social adaptation and self-realization.
The goal of correctional and pedagogical rehabilitation is:
- development of the child’s cognitive abilities;
- formation of speech skills;
- motor development;
- correction of disturbed emotional and volitional sphere;
- correction of disturbed behavior;
- social adaptation of the child.
Correctional and pedagogical rehabilitation is carried out taking into account the individual characteristics of the child, his age and psychophysical capabilities.
