Correctional and pedagogical rehabilitation for children 

Correctional and pedagogical rehabilitation of children is a complex of measures aimed at eliminating or mitigating impaired psychophysical development of the child, as well as at maximally restoring his social adaptation and self-realization.

The goal of correctional and pedagogical rehabilitation is:

  • development of the child’s cognitive abilities;
  • formation of speech skills;
  • motor development;
  • correction of disturbed emotional and volitional sphere;
  • correction of disturbed behavior;
  • social adaptation of the child.

Correctional and pedagogical rehabilitation is carried out taking into account the individual characteristics of the child, his age and psychophysical capabilities.

The main tasks of correctional and pedagogical rehabilitation:

  • diagnosis of impaired child development;
  • development of an individual rehabilitation program;
  • carrying out correctional and pedagogical measures;
  • monitoring of rehabilitation results.
