Doctor of physical and rehabilitation medicine:
- Conducts a clinical and functional examination of the patient’s condition, determines the characteristics and severity of the disease, the patient’s ability to tolerate the effects of appropriate rehabilitation measures.
- Determines the plan of treatment, rehabilitation, preventive and health-improving measures that most effectively ensure the rapid recovery of the patient’s functional state and the composition of the rehabilitation team (in particular, specialists in medical and non-medical specialties).
- Monitors the dynamics and effectiveness of restorative treatment, adjusts the list of rehabilitation measures, their intensity, taking into account the patient’s individual characteristics, including his psychosocial, biological characteristics, age, level of education, living conditions, etc.
- Provides consultative assistance for patients regarding rehabilitation care and wellness activities.
