Ebru is a kind of painting characteristic of the countries of the East, the product of which is a drawing created on water and then carefully transferred to paper or another surface.
At Ebru master classes, everyone will be able to experience the therapeutic and soothing effect of contact with the liquid. It will be useful for the child and even more so for the parents. Under the enchanting music of the East, we enjoy the process of painting for an hour – the colors flow on the surface of the water and magically connect, but do not mix.
Over the centuries, this method has been used to create bases for calligraphy, interior decoration, book covers and endpapers, fabric painting, jewelry, and more. And we, as ancient artists, will create our masterpieces, which can be framed as a picture, or used for the cover or bookmark of a favorite book, make a postcard for a best friend, etc.

During the classes, children will learn about the ancient art of painting – Ebru. Learn the basic methods and techniques of drawing on water.
What do they do there, what are the methods:
Artists use special water instead of canvas and paint with paints that do not sink and create unique patterns on the surface of the water. With the help of special tools, with light movements, they “manage” the colors and create magical images. At the end, the drawing is transferred to paper.

Drawing using the Ebru technique will allow every child to feel like a real artist, discover their creative abilities, get a unique experience and immerse themselves in the magical world of the play of colors on water. The child will be able to draw his own masterpiece, observe real metamorphoses, how artistic art is created with the help of water and paint. Drawing on water has a therapeutic calming effect, which is very necessary in our hectic lives.
