Physical rehabilitation for children

Physical rehabilitation for children is a set of measures aimed at restoring the child’s physical functions, impaired as a result of trauma, disease or congenital pathology.

The goal of physical rehabilitation is to help the child achieve the maximum level of functional activity and independence.

Physical rehabilitation includes a wide range of methods, such as:

  • Exercise therapy (physical therapy) is aimed at strengthening muscles, improving joint mobility and motor coordination;
  • massage – helps to relax muscles, improve blood circulation and lymphatic drainage;

  • occupational therapy – helps the child develop the skills necessary for education and work;

  • neurorehabilitation is aimed at restoring the functions of the nervous system responsible for movement.

Physical rehabilitation is carried out under the supervision of a rehabilitator. It is important that physical rehabilitation is carried out regularly at home and in specialized institutions.
